Three more arrested for abetment in student gang rape case in Bengaluru

Continuing their investigation into the alleged gang rape of a college student, the Amruthahalli Police Station have arrested three more persons for allegedly abetting the crime.

During the investigation, police examined six to seven witnesses and recorded their statements. On the basis of the complainant’s statement and supporting evidence, two main accused were arrested earlier.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Diksan Santhra, 21, a resident of West Bengal, and Nikhil, 34, a second-hand car dealer and resident of Sakaleshpur in Hassan district. They were produced before the jurisdictional court and remanded to police custody for further interrogation.
