Alleging that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was “corrupt”, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, in his first public rally after being discharged in the Delhi excise policy case, said the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) downfall had begun.
“Friends, this is that Jantar Mantar from where people decided to get rid of the Congress. Today, this day of Jantar Mantar is a historic day. Note today’s date. From today, the countdown for the BJP’s [downfall] has begun,” Mr. Kejriwal said, addressing party workers at Jantar Mantar here on Sunday (March 1, 2026).
